Les Journées de la culture

THE CULTURAL BUFFET IS BACK THIS YEAR!

The Cultural Buffet is back this year!
Three days to use your best ingredients to tempt and whet the public’s appetite.

Participate in the Journées de la culture and provide the curious and connoisseurs alike with an opportunity to get their fill of culture. Join the thousands of artists, craftspeople and cultural workers throughout Quebec who go out each year to make the Journées de la culture the biggest “happening” to promote access to art and culture in North America. This year, for the 14th edition of the Journées de la culture, we would like to invite the educational milieu to lend a hand in providing their specific publics with accessible, interactive and festive creation activities in order to keep spreading the taste for culture.

It is to forge stronger links between the art and educational worlds that each of Journées de la culture editions begins on a Friday. In joining the movement you contribute to making Quebec educational institutions sites where culture and education come together in a common cause: to allow young Quebecois to attain their full creative, physical and intellectual potential.

JOIN IN THE BANQUET!

In addition to organizing their own activities, primary and secondary schools can participate in special activities indented exclusively for them as part of the Time out… for school groups! program. Keep an eye out for the unveiling of the 2010 programming at: www.journeesdelaculture.qc.ca.
