This Logbook was produced by Culture pour tous thanks to the financial support of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation and Telus for the
online version.

My Cultural Logbook is a learning tool to enable elementary students in grades 4, 5, and 6 to explore the arts and culture. Accompanied by the Activity Guide for teachers, this Logbook will allow children to become aware of culture in their own environment, through learning experiences and an openness to cultural diversity. The Logbook is also a journal, a memory aide, and a souvenir album in which to record discoveries. It integrates, with the help of practical activities, the four arts taught in schools, cultural outings, occupations related to culture, and Arts and Culture Week in Quebec Schools. It gives students the opportunity to develop their critical thinking, make their own creations, and evaluate their understanding of culture. The Activity Guide offers teachers a variety of activities that can be done in class or during cultural outings.
Download one of the formats, make a photocopy for each student, and guide them throughout the year as they make their own arts and culture discoveries.
