Launching the work by the
Cultural Mediation Research Group
Culture pour tous / ARUC-ÉS and SAC (UQAM) |
| . |
In the fall of 2006, Culture pour tous joined forces with the Alliance de recherche universités-communautés en économie sociale (ARUC-ÉS) and the Service aux collectivités de l’Université du Québec à Montréal (SAC / UQAM) in order to set up a working group aimed at developing professional and academic expertise in the field of cultural mediation.
The Cultural Mediation Research Group organized its first professional seminar in December, attended by representatives of the cultural, community and municipal sectors. As well, it released “ Regards croisés sur la médiation culturelle ”, containing articles by seven researchers and a summary of the case studies carried out among eleven Quebec organizations.
Browse the new section of our Web site, which will provide updates on the research group’s activities on a regular basis.

The Cultural Logbook is a pedagogical tool originally produced four years ago with the support of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation.
An interactive version is presently in production and will be available online starting in February 2008. This new version, produced with the financial support of the Telus Community Investment Board, will allow students to access interactive games and personal spaces. Both the print version and the interactive Web version of the logbook allow teachers to easily asses the learning and skills acquired by their students. |
